Perioperative Education Department Roles
We have two permanent part-time opportunities for experienced Registered Nurses to join our Perioperative Education team.
The Role:
* Provide quality, evidence-based training and support to staff and graduates within the perioperative department.
* Develop, implement, and evaluate learning and development programs.
* Contribute to the hospital's quality improvement process.
About You:
You will be an organised and efficient professional with advanced skills in nursing assessment and highly developed clinical problem-solving skills.
You will be a positive role model with a natural ability to mentor and support staff with an innovative approach to education delivery.
Key Skills And Qualifications:
* Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
* Minimum three years' relevant specialty experience in an acute hospital setting.
* Previous experience educating or preceptoring staff in formal and informal settings.
* Sound knowledge of evidence-based practice in a clinical environment.
* Proven ability to work within a team or independently, as required.
* Advanced computer skills.
* Postgraduate qualifications in Nursing/Clinical Education (or working towards) are desirable.
