Traffic Management Specialist is responsible for developing high-quality Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS), Traffic Management Plans (TMP) and permit applications that meet national and state standards.
This role involves preparing accurate TGS, TMP, Vehicle and Pedestrian Movement Plans using Rapidplan and related software. Site inspections and audits are undertaken to support planning accuracy. Liaison with councils and regulatory bodies is required to obtain ROLs and permits.
* Develop and implement traffic management strategies that minimize disruptions and ensure safety.
* Work closely with stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
About You:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably as a Traffic Control Team Leader or Supervisor.
* Comprehensive understanding of traffic management standards and legislation (RMS TCAWS, AS******).
* Prepare a Work Zone Traffic Management Plan qualification is essential.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficient in Rapidplan, Nearmap, Google Earth, MS Office.
* Australian Driver's Licence is mandatory.
* Permit process experience is preferred but not essential.
