About the Role
Alyve is seeking a
Senior Jira & Confluence Developer
with deep expertise in
Jira Premium and Confluence Premium
to design, enhance, and scale enterprise-grade Atlassian environments.
In this role, you'll lead advanced workflow design, portfolio and program management enablement, and custom integrations that improve visibility, governance, and delivery outcomes across complex initiatives. You'll work closely with PMOs, delivery teams, and senior stakeholders, acting as both a technical expert and trusted advisor.
What You'll Do
* Design and configure advanced Jira Premium and Confluence Premium environments
* Build complex workflows, permission models, issue types, and reporting structures
* Implement Advanced Roadmaps (Portfolio for Jira) for capacity planning and cross-team coordination
* Develop API-based integrations and automation using Groovy, Python, and REST APIs
* Enable executive-ready dashboards, metrics, and program reporting
* Provide governance, best-practice guidance, and platform optimisation
* Support user adoption through documentation, training, and enablement
What You'll Bring
* 5+ years' experience with Jira and Confluence administration and development (2+ years Premium)
* Strong experience with Advanced Roadmaps (Portfolio for Jira)
* Scripting and automation capability (Groovy, Python, REST APIs)
* Experience integrating Atlassian tools with CI/CD and DevOps platforms
* Solid understanding of Agile and modern delivery frameworks
* Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and translating requirements into scalable solutions
