We are an established Urology Private Practice with a excellent supportive team, and are looking for someone proficient and skilled in performing secretarial and administrative duties in specialist rooms.
Key responsibilities
- Meeting and greeting patients, responding to telephone calls and email enquiries.
- Booking of appointments - consulting and theatre
- Patient accounts, including invoicing and payments.
- Provide administrative services for our satellite clinics.
- Participation in quality improvement activities
- Liaison with Private and Public Hospitals
- Previous experience working in busy specialist rooms.
- Experience with Genie software
- Knowledge of billing regulations in regards to Medicare and Hospital Funds
- Awareness of medical ethics and privacy principles
- Organized, good time management, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to multi-task in a busy environment.
- Pride themselves on their attention to detail skills – and genuinely want to make a difference in our patient’s lives.
- A genuine desire to be trained and upskilled to assist our practice.
- Police Check (National Police Certificate)
