Position Title: C‐Band RADAR Technician.
Reports to: Space System Supervisor (C‐Band RADAR).
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct planned and corrective maintenance on the C‐Band RADAR system and associated subsystems.
* Plan maintenance activities and prepare maintenance reports.
* Calibrate the RADAR and interpret calibration results.
* Work within a Linux system environment.
* Write technical reports.
* Provide logistics support.
* Maintain strong relationships with domestic and international stakeholders.
* Only employees willing to relocate to the Exmouth region will be considered; relocation assistance may be considered.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
* Minimum of a Certificate III in Electronics (Communications or Control) or a relevant technical discipline.
* Experience with Defence/Maritime Radar, Combat System, Complex Communication and/or Mechanical System.
* Excellent analytical and fault‐finding skills.
* Ability to confidently operate and interpret data from a wide range of test equipment.
* Eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance (NV1).
