Aus Ships Group is currently seeking trade qualified or experienced aluminium boat builders, aluminium fabricators and aluminium welders to assist with the production of our current and upcoming new build, refit and repairs of government, commercial and private aluminium vessels, based over two sites - Murarrie and Hemmant, Brisbane.

We are a small, but highly skilled team based in Murarrie and Hemmant, Brisbane. We pride ourselves in being extremely vast with our capabilities within the marine sector, with current projects in both the commercial and recreational fields.
Essential requirements for the role:
* Minimum 3 years experience in aluminium fabrication (marine preferred)
* Professional work ethic, attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills
* Experience in use of power and hand tools relevant to aluminium fabrication
* Knowledge of aluminium boat building highly desirable
* Aluminium MIG Welding experience
* Ability to read technical drawings
* Physically fit to work in a face paced environment
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Current drivers license and own vehicle
* Applicants MUST be Australian Residents, OR have the appropriate visa to legally work in Australia
Duties:
* Fabrication and welding of our current and upcoming new build and refit projects to a high standard
* Follow technical construction drawings
* Perform tasks as directed by senior team members and management
* Maintain good housekeeping
* Ensure WH&S processes are always followed
* Display excellent communication skills
