The role is paid at SCHADS 4B ($43.08–$46.35ph) plus super and salary‐packaging benefits, part‐time (22.5hrs) based in Townsville, QLD.
Core Functions
* Create seamless connections between carers and community resources, cultivating meaningful relationships that support wellbeing and independence.
* Support carers to thrive, focusing on holistic well‐being and helping them achieve their full potential.
* Provide a 'no wrong door' approach to support services.
* Oversee the Carer Hub, facilitating social interaction and promoting wellbeing, connection and a sense of belonging.
Responsibilities
* Act as the welcoming face and guiding hand for carers in the Carer Hubs.
* Build strong, sustainable relationships with community organisations, health services, schools, aged‐care facilities and local government agencies.
* Assist carers with navigating support services and connecting them to vital resources.
* Promote Carer Gateway services and enhance accessibility.
Qualifications
* Experience working with family carers in mental health, alcohol and other drugs, community support services.
* Diploma or above in a support discipline and/or equivalent community sector experience.
* Current valid Driver's Licence.
* Strong technology and IT skills.
* Satisfactory National Police Records Check (within 12 months).
* WWCC / QLD Blue Card.
* NDIS Workers Screening Check / QLD Yellow Card.
* Right to work within Australia.
* Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
