This role offers a unique opportunity to lead strategic energy initiatives and play a pivotal role in the energy transition working directly on generation, transmission, and distribution planning projects.Role ResponsibilitiesLead and execute advanced power system planning studies including generation, transmission, and distribution systemsConduct technical and economic analyses to optimize power system performance, bolster reliability, and meet evolving customer demandsDevelop and validate long-term resource and capacity plans aligned with regulatory, environmental, and market requirementsCollaborate across teams to assess emerging technologies, renewable integration, and strategies for grid modernizationDevelop strategies for grid expansion, interconnections, and project feasibility with technical leadershipProvide comprehensive technical reports, presentations, and informed recommendations to stakeholders including executives, regulators, and industry partnersMentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical expertise and supporting team developmentStay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and innovations to align planning methods with emerging power systems standardsWhat We Are Looking ForOur ideal candidate will be a senior-level engineer with outstanding leadership skills, exceptional technical expertise, and a passion for driving impactful energy solutions.Minimum Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related discipline8 years of professional experience in power system planning (generation, transmission, and/or distribution)Proficiency in power system analysis tools such as PSSE, PowerFactory, or similar softwareProven experience in load flow, dynamic stability, and contingency analysisStrong command of power market operations, renewable energy integration, and grid codesStrong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative and sustainable solutionsExceptional communication, technical writing, and presentation skills for engaging stakeholders across all levelsPreferred Skills & CredentialsMaster's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related fieldProfessional Engineer (PE) accreditation or equivalent certificationExpertise in regulatory frameworks and experience collaborating with utility regulatorsFamiliarity with advanced optimization techniques, energy storage technologies, and emerging grid innovationsApply now or reach out to me at to learn more about this opportunity
