We are seeking a BI Designer responsible for ensuring the accuracy of architecture and data design, resolving design-level issues, and owning data warehouse interfaces and presentation designs. The role also supports Data Warehouse governance. This is a Full-Time, Permanent position. While WFH / Hybrid options are available, the successful candidate must maintain a presence at Blackburn North per our hybrid working model. The position includes a Commuted Availability Allowance (CAA), and the candidate must be available outside regular hours to support emergency or time-critical incidents.
About the role
Reporting to the Business Intelligence Team Leader, responsibilities include:
1. Managing the design of AV Data Warehouse, Analytics, and Reporting efficiently and effectively.
2. Ensuring Data Warehouse alignment with architectural standards for new BI services.
3. Providing technical recommendations for system improvements and enhancements.
4. Updating BI policies, processes, and procedures in line with legislation.
About you
Candidates should possess a degree or relevant industry certification with proven experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Additional requirements include:
* Experience with Oracle systems and tools.
* Experience with at least one BI tool and ETL tool.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
* Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
* Initiative and proactive problem detection.
* Availability outside normal hours for on-call support.
