About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer - Lead to drive project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement activities. Youll be responsible for scoping, planning, scheduling, and cost estimation, ensuring projects meet safety, quality, and performance goals while fostering strong relationships with contractors and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project scoping, planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Prepare and review project budgets, forecasts, and execution plans
- Monitor project progress against timelines and budgets
- Draft blue sheets and capital expenditure applications (CEAs)
- Maintain open and effective communication with all stakeholders
- Build and foster strong relationships with contract partners
- Conduct Leadership in Field activities to identify improvement opportunities
- Perform stakeholder engagement and manage CM performance review
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality assurance practices
Skills and Experience Required
- Strong project management skills, including planning, forecasting, and scheduling
- Effective communicator, influencer, and relationship builder
- Ability to work with contractors and multidisciplinary teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
- Skilled in project engineering and report writing
- Good understanding of health, safety, environment, and quality assurance
- Ability to solve complex problems and manage conflict effectively
- Experience with project scopes, QA/QC, capital forecasting, and critical control field verifications
- Background in heavy industry is a plus but not essential
