Home Care Assistant Job
We are seeking dedicated individuals to assist clients with acquired spinal cord injuries in their homes.

This is an exciting opportunity for those who want to make a difference in people's lives. As a Home Care Assistant, you will deliver flexible, responsive support, fill shifts, maintain continuity of care, and ensure high-quality support across our services.
Your Responsibilities
* Transfer clients safely in and out of bed and wheelchairs, using hoists as required.
* Provide personal care, including grooming, bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toileting, bladder, and bowel management.
* Assist with basic wound care and medication management.
* Offer domestic support such as meal preparation, household duties, and laundry.
* Accompany clients on community access, including driving to appointments and social activities.
What You Need To Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Excellent listening and communication skills.
* The ability to work a fixed fortnightly roster (morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts).
* A current driver's license and reliable vehicle.
* National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Screening and Blue Cards.
* Relevant experience or qualifications in the field.
