Job Description The Role: The Change Manager will be responsible for assessing, designing and delivering organisational change management activities to support the overall strategic objectives of the Departments project. The primary responsibilities include creating and implementing change management plans that maximise adoption and support and manage key stakeholder relationships to effectively embed change. Skills and Experience Required: Demonstrate experience in applying a structured methodology and leading organisational change management activities from project or program level to inform evidence-based strategies and plans which support people and processes, in transitioning and adopting new ways of working. This includes experience in identifying change dependencies, align change interventions to drive benefits and collaborating effectively to minimise disruption. Demonstrate an ability to work in ambiguous working environments with a range of change management maturity, have excellent organizational, and stakeholder management skills including managing sensitive situations and information. Demonstrate experience with preparing communications, ability to present to executives and teams, undertake training needs analysis and engage partners/specialists to deliver artefacts as identified. Demonstrable ability to work with data including Pivot tables, analysis and using it to inform change approach and impact assessment. Demonstrate attention to detail, ability to create and manage schedules and track deliverables. 3 to 7 years of experience working in large complex projects and 3-5 years of experience working in change management. Location and Contract Term: This role is based in ACT, NSW or QLD. 12 month contract with 2 x 12-month extension options pending budget and delegate approval.
