We are seeking dedicated Laundry Assistants to join our growing team, working with a leading workwear and linen laundry service based in Footscray.
This role involves working with industrial washing machines and dryers, handling primarily uniforms and linen.
Monday to Friday, 7am - 3pm
Saturday OT
$30-$31 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
* Loading and operating industrial washing machines and dryers
* Entering weight of garments into a computerised system
* Folding uniforms and linen with precision
* Maintaining a clean and organised work space
* Inspect laundry for stains, damage, or wear and report any issues
* Working as part of a team to ensure an effective work environment
Requirements:
* Physically fit to handle the demands of the job- Lifting up to 25KG
* Previous experience as a Laundry Assistant preferred
* Reliable and punctual
