Role Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master to join our fast‐paced product development team. This role is central to fostering an environment where high‐performing teams can deliver exceptional value efficiently. You will champion the Agile mindset, coach the team in Scrum practices, and help remove impediments, ensuring continuous delivery and improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives, ensuring they are productive and time‐boxed.
* Coach the Development Team and Product Owner on Scrum principles, Agile values and best practices, focusing on self‐organisation and cross‐functionality.
* Actively identify, track and remove impediments or blockers that prevent the team from achieving its Sprint goals.
* Help the Product Owner manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring transparent and timely communication of progress and roadmaps.
* Drive continuous improvement within the team and across the organisation by utilising metrics and facilitating meaningful Retrospectives.
* Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) or equivalent certification is required.
* Expert understanding of Scrum principles, practices and theory, including foundational knowledge of other Agile methodologies (Kanban, XP).
* Proven ability to run engaging and effective meetings and workshops.
* Excellent skills in conflict resolution, negotiation and handling difficult situations with tact and professionalism.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to both technical and non‐technical audiences.
Desirable Qualifications
* Advanced Scrum Certification (e.g., PSM II, A‐CSM).
* Experience scaling Agile (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, DaD).
* Experience with a range of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello).
