As our part‑time Administration Assistant/Paralegal based in Southport, you'll be the first person clients meet, making meaningful impact every day. This role combines front‑office duties—meeting and greeting clients, maintaining the reception area and meeting rooms—and administrative support for our legal team. Responsibilities
* Support the legal team with administrative tasks and optimise internal systems to process information.
* Cultivate strong relationships and trust through empathy, interpreting client needs and connecting them with the right legal team members.
* Manage general filing, indexing medical records, requesting documents, processing expenses, photocopying, mail management and archiving, identifying opportunities for improvement.
* Respond to inbound calls, couriers and emails from clients, prepare new client documents and ensure clients feel supported and heard.
* Assist with matter preparation for conferences and hearings, including collating briefs to counsel and experts, legal searches, preparation of court and legal documents and general correspondence.
* Provide chargeable and non‑chargeable support to the legal team, from file opening to closure, to maximise client compensation.
What you'll bring
* Early progression towards a bachelor's degree is desirable but not essential.
* Professional presentation with a customer‑service focus.
* Accurate typing skills with intermediate Word and Excel skills.
* Keen eye for detail in document management and collation.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Empathy and a passion for helping people, especially those who have experienced trauma.
