The role requires you to pivot from managing a craft‐beer‐loving bar crowd to overseeing a busy family bistro and a high‐performing gaming room. You'll thrive in the thick of the action, be the face of the pub, and keep standards sky‐high.
A Day In The Life Of An Assistant Manager
* Get to know the locals so well they think you're part of the crew.
* Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe.
* Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospitality legends.
* Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches.
* Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift.
Inherent Requirements
* Hands‐on role involving manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g., moving stock, kegs, deliveries). Applicants must be able to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
About You
* You've been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block and have experience supervising.
* You've learned from great managers and are ready to step up.
* You have the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away.
* You hold a current RSA/RSG, RMLV, and Approved Manager's Licence as per state requirements.
