About the Role

Flow is a growing and innovative global business that strives to have a positive environmental impact. We're on the hunt for a Customer Support Agent to communicate with our awesome customers and help them to succeed with our beekeeping products.

The role primarily entails responding to customer enquiries via email ticketing system and social media platforms, plus a variety of administrative tasks and special projects. We're looking for someone who is a team player, happy to take on a variety of tasks, with excellent communication skills and who can comfortably work across multiple digital platforms. Strong attention to detail is a must.

Any beekeeping knowledge would be beneficial, but if you've never kept a bee in your life, don't worry – we'll teach you all about them We work from our spectacular office near Byron Bay, and most of us do a couple of days a week from home. Flow is a purpose-driven company, and we're a dynamic bunch who care about what we're doing.

This is a full-time role; applicants are expected to be available 4-5 days a week. Clerical award applies. If helping customers is your thing and you're lit up by the opportunity to work for a company that's helping the bees, we'd love to hear from you.

Ideal Skills/Experience

You have excellent customer service skills

* You love helping people.
* You have experience in a customer service role.
* Ideally, you know how to multitask in an online environment to provide support and answer enquiries via live chat, an email ticketing system, and by phone. For bonus points, you have also supported customers through various social media platforms.

You are experienced in sales and training

* You have experience supporting customers during their purchasing process, and ideally have trained other staff in how to do this, with an understanding that good sales is about strong product understanding and the confidence to troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

You are a fantastic communicator

* You have highly developed interpersonal communication and writing skills. Digital proofreading tools are great, but knowledge of grammar is better ;)
* You can craft an email to turn even the most challenging customer into a raving fan.

You have experience with online e-commerce, shipping or CRM platforms

* You can easily navigate order management and shipping physical products from remote warehouses. (OK, you might not have this exact experience, but you have used a variety of digital management systems and are comfortable learning new ones…)
* Experience using Cin7 and/or Shopify is a big plus.

You're computer savvy

* You have a decent understanding of commonly used software (eg: spreadsheets, customer service ticketing software, etc.)
* 90% of your work will be on a computer, so you'll need to feel comfortable in the digital space and be willing to have a go at solving minor tech issues when they arise.

You have great attention to detail

* You're passionate (or at least keen) about being organised – if things are in a mess, you want to sort it out.
* You're able to, for example, spot a pricing mismatch between a spreadsheet and a webpage.

You're a keen learner and teacher

* You have the ability to learn on the job. When a solution to a problem is not already obvious, you actively seek one out.
* You know that sharing your knowledge makes for a better all-round team.

You're passionate about bees & the environment

* You care about these incredible little creatures – even if you don't already have practical beekeeping knowledge, skills and experience, you're excited to know more about bees. Caring about the planet in general is also a plus.
