Sydney Helicopters has been servicing Sydney and regional NSW since 1984. We operate helicopters on a number of Government related contracts including aerial fire fighting and disaster response. In 2021 we developed our new Heliport facility - Nepean Aerospace Park (YNEP) at Castlereagh. The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Rotary) to join our team in the role of Head of Maintenance.
Responsibilities
As a successful B1.3 LAME (Rotary) candidate you will be working with and managing an experienced and dedicated team carrying out a range of maintenance activities on various aircraft types including Bell and Airbus helicopters. The candidate will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for maintenance planning and scheduling, delivery of maintenance activities and management of resources.
What will help you succeed?
* CASA B1.3 license (type endorsement Bell 412 highly sort after).
* Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Airframe) or equivalent qualifications
* Demonstrated experience working on Bell 206, 412 and Airbus AS350 / H125 aircraft is highly sought after
* Experience in aircraft maintenance and modification work
* A minimum of 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience is required.
* Knowledge and understanding of aviation regulatory requirements for aircraft maintenance
