About the Job:
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients, arranging patient services, and supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health initiatives. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* To provide comprehensive clinical care to patients in a community health setting.
* To arrange patient services, including referrals to specialist services and coordination of care.
* To support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health initiatives, including education and awareness-raising activities.
* To maintain accurate records and reports, including patient data and program outcomes.
Requirements:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated health professional who has a strong commitment to Aboriginal health and wellbeing. The ideal candidate will have:
* A bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
* Current registration as a nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Experience working in a community health setting, preferably with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
