Purpose
As theHotel Accountant ,you will be an essential member of the Accor Shared Services team, playing a key role in review, reconciliation, reporting and support for a cluster of properties within the Accor Apartments & Realty portfolio.
This position is ideal for a competent Accountant or Assistant Accountant that is seeking to work in an exciting and dynamic environment whilst advancing their career
This role is a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. Role starts August 2025 to August 2026 approx.
Primary Responsibilities
* End of month preparation, review & reporting
* Balance sheet preparation & maintenances
* Monthly FBT data review, distribution, communication and full year report preparation
* Monthly BAS review & assistance for unreconcilable accounts
* Assist in monthly forecasting preparation
* Assist with internal audit control reviews
* AR credit meeting attendance/ aged debt maintenance
* Support Area Finance & Property teams in daily/annual requirements when required
Skills and Experience
* A minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting and/or Finance or Commerce
* CA or CPA qualifications is a plus
* Proven track record and strong understanding of management accounting
* Strong attention to detail, accuracy and problem-solving skills
* Excellent written and oral communication skills across a wide-range of stakeholders
* Ability to work under pressure within tight time frames
