Achieve Something Great
The Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Service (PIMHS) is a specialist, multidisciplinary service supporting women experiencing moderate to severe mental health challenges during pregnancy and the first year of their baby’s life. Our team is committed to delivering high‑quality, recovery‑oriented care that strengthens parent–infant wellbeing and supports families during one of the most crucial periods of life. We are seeking an experienced Senior Mental Health Professional to join our Campbelltown-based team. In this senior role, you will provide clinical leadership, advanced assessment and intervention, and collaborative care for women, infants, families, and their support networks. You will contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives, and strong partnerships across the district and broader community sector .If you are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of mothers and infants, value multidisciplinary teamwork, and bring a high standard of clinical practice, we would love to hear from you.
As a pool clinician, you’ll begin by supporting one of our teams to fill a current vacancy. As new opportunities arise across our mental health services, you may be offered the chance to transition to other teams—providing you with valuable experience and exposure across the diverse services within SWSLHD Community Mental Health. Future roles may become available at Ingleburn, Bankstown, Campbelltown, Ambarvale, Liverpool, Fairfield, and Wollondilly.

Your practice is grounded in evidence-based care, recovery principles, and a commitment to safe, ethical, and culturally responsive service delivery. You are confident working within legislative frameworks, such as the NSW Mental Health Act 2007, and have experience contributing to service improvement and multidisciplinary initiatives. If you’re an adaptable, reflective, and dedicated clinician with a passion for supporting perinatal mental health, you will be an excellent fit for this role.
