Motor / Diesel Mechanic(Service Technician) – QLD
MMT Recruitment is partnering with a large, well-established Australian agribusiness to recruit an experienced Service Technician (Motor / Diesel Mechanic) to support operations across multiple rural sites in southern Queensland.
This is a hands-on, varied mechanical role working across farms, feed mills and renewable energy (biogas) facilities. It's ideal for a mechanically minded technician who enjoys problem-solving, autonomy, and working with diverse agricultural and industrial equipment.

The Role
9. Maintain and repair machinery across farm, feed mill and biogas operations
10. Diagnose and repair diesel, petrol and biogas engines and associated systems
11. Perform preventative maintenance, lubrication and mechanical adjustments
12. Carry out welding, fabrication and repair of piping and mechanical equipment
13. Assist with fleet servicing, workshop duties and safety documentation
14. Ensure all work is completed in line with WHS and compliance standards
About You
15. Qualified Motor Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic or equivalent trade background
(formal trade qualification not essential if you have recent, relevant experience)
16. Minimum 2 years' experience with agricultural, industrial or heavy equipment
17. Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capability
18. Safety-focused with strong attention to quality and compliance
19. Comfortable working independently across multiple sites
20. Good communication skills and accurate record-keeping
21. Full Australian working rights
