As a Quality Control Inspector, your responsibilities will include:
* Inspecting and verifying the quality of works and construction processes to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
* Reviewing drawings, specifications and contract documents to ensure accuracy and feasibility of construction methods.
* Conducting regular site inspections and tests on workmanship to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
* Documenting and reporting on quality issues, including any non-compliance, defects or deviations from standards, and working with the project team to resolve them.
* Collaborating with contractors, project managers and engineers to ensure all corrective actions are implemented and issues are addressed promptly.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience (3+ years) as a Quality Control Inspector.
* Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods and quality control procedures.
* Familiarity with relevant codes, standards and safety regulations.
* Proficiency in using inspection tools, measuring instruments and relevant software.
