About Us
Our client is a well established Asian food wholesaler supplying a wide range of Japanese, Chinese, Korean and other Asian food products to restaurants across Sydney. With a strong reputation and expanding customer base, they are now seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join their Auburn-based team.
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of restaurant clients while driving new business opportunities. This role includes regular client visits, relationship building, analysing sales trends, and coordinating closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth end to end customer experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of sales, customer engagement and hands on operational work—while being part of a growing, multicultural business.
Responsibilities
* Grow wholesale sales by promoting the company's product range (e.g., Japanese food and other Asian groceries).
* Build strong, ongoing relationships with restaurant clients and ensure a high level of service.
* Visit existing and potential customers to identify new business opportunities.
• Monitor personal sales performance and provide accurate reports to management.
* Collaborate with internal teams (purchasing, logistics, warehouse, admin, accounting) to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
* Maintain accurate CRM/sales records and assist with daily operational tasks when required.
* Support on site sales initiatives and occasional delivery coordination.
Your Profile
* Fluent in English plus proficiency in one of the following languages: Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Korean.
* 1–2 years of experience in B2B/B2C or corporate sales (food industry experience is a plus).
* Strong client relationship and communication skills.
* Ability to analyse sales & customer data and generate insights.
* Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, IF functions, etc.).
* Flexible, proactive, and willing to support day to day operational needs.
* Experience working with warehouse or delivery teams is advantageous.
