About the Role
Hastings Deering is on the hunt for a Project Manager join our award-winning team in Mackay. This is a Permanent, Monday to Friday role.
As a Project Manager you will:
1. Carry out assigned continuous improvement activities and projects, within designated time frames
2. Perform project requirements analysis and definition, consolidation of these into a project delivery plans and communicate with stakeholders.
3. Ensure improvement goals are identified in activity/project charters and a documented record of the activity/project will be maintained on the enterprise file server.
4. Provide leadership, support and training when required to activity/project teams.
5. Maintain progress updates, project schedules and planning artefacts as required to communicate project progress.
6. Maintain records of work-in-progress and communications in line with the project management methodology.
7. Identify, analyse and provide timely escalation to HDAL and customer managers of any forecast exceptions or delays beyond tolerances
8. Carry out special assignments as allocated, which involves research and data analysis to assist with Company decisions and activities

About You
A successful teammate will have experience in:
19. Have a strong background in project management
20. Strong stakeholder and change management proficiency
21. Strong interpersonal skills
22. Project management qualification
23. Certified CAT black belt is advantageous
24. Solid understanding of project management techniques
25. Extensive experience in delivery of projects
