In this role, you will coordinate events, activities, and communications to enhance student engagement, ensuring a professional and valuable membership experience.This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about community building, event management, and member engagement in the tech sector.Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Coordination - Plan and execute student-focused events (online and in-person), conferences, and networking activities.Ensure all events run smoothly, on time, and within budget.Member Engagement & Communication - Actively connect with student members and support their ACS experience.Represent ACS at university events, networking sessions, and student activities.Manage communications, including event promotions and member updates via ACS Weekly, LinkedIn, and social media.Handle event logistics, including speaker coordination, venue bookings, and online/hybrid event setup.Administrative & Operational Support - Maintain and update member records in the ACS CRM.Provide administrative assistance to the Partner Success Manager – Communities.Support the delivery of the national student event calendar.About YouYou are an enthusiastic and organised professional with a strong passion for student engagement, event coordination, and community development. You thrive in dynamic environments, can multitask effectively, and have excellent communication skills to engage with students, stakeholders, and industry professionals.What You BringExperience in event coordination (preferably in a membership-based or corporate setting).Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and problem-solve efficiently.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce experience is a plus).A Diploma in Event Management or equivalent experience is desirable.About ACSACS is Australia’s leading professional association for the technology community, representing around 50,000 members across industry, government, and education.
