We are looking for an experienced Common Area Cleaner who will work as part of our team and be responsible for the day to day upkeep of the resort. Reporting to the GM, this role will suit someone who is very committed and motivated.
The successful candidate will have strong initiative, the ability to work under pressure, good presentation and a friendly, positive attitude when in presence of guests. Experience in a common area cleaning environment in a busy hospitality environment (or similar) is preferred.
The position requires working in guest and resident areas, so the ability to relate to people from all walks is essential.
Duties & responsibilities
* Ensuring the overall appearance and presentation of the resort grounds and gardens are to the highest possible standard,
* Ensuring that the daily cleaning duties are performed to the highest possible standard.
* Support and work alongside maintenance and other cleaning staff when required.
* Cleaning of hotel areas like car park, fountains and surrounding areas will be required.
* Window cleaning experience preferred.
This role is initially a casual position with a possible view to part or full time in the future. The position will include very early mornings, weekends and public holidays.
