We're seeking a highly skilled Logistics Engineer to join our team in St Marys, NSW. As a key member of our logistics operations, you'll be responsible for designing and delivering innovative warehouse layouts, optimizing transport flows, and implementing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
* Warehouse Design: Identify warehouse requirements and scope improvements, including racking layouts and profiles.
* Process Improvement: Review depot operations, develop improvement plans, and lead them to completion.
* Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to design space-optimized layouts based on demand profiles.
* Implementation: Create part re-slotting files and support operational implementation.
* WMS Systems: Leverage WMS systems to identify and implement process improvements.
* Automation: Benchmark operations, design, and implement cost-effective automation and material handling systems.
* Layout Development: Develop block layouts and prepare Statements of Requirements (SOR) to start RFQs for agreed design and technical evaluation during RFQ and installation.
* Project Management: Manage implementation plans and document redesigned operations.
* Supply Chain Optimization: Support supply chain optimization and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
You'll also be responsible for building KPIs and reporting for transport network cost and performance benchmarking, ensuring effective coordination across supply chain partners for smooth operations, and monitoring transport KPIs (cost, OTIF/DIFOT) and supporting strategic planning.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* Degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or similar field;
* Green Belt Six Sigma qualification;
* 3+ years in warehouse process improvement, analytics, and WMS support;
* Proven track record in warehouse/logistics operations and taking ownership of improvements;
* Strong communication skills, influencing, and stakeholder management;
* High business acumen, integrity, and creativity;
* Sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities with a drive to deliver results;
* Proficient in MS applications (e.g., Visio Professional, Access, PowerPoint/Word/Excel);
* Hands-on, independent, and self-motivated;
* Willing and able to travel frequently across the APAC region;
