**The Role**

We are looking to fill up to 2 positions in our Legal Practice Management Team. The Legal Practice Management team in the Corporate, Early Childhood and Youth Legal Branch provides high quality legal advice and services on a variety of matters as well as administrative support to the department's two legal branches. The team is responsible for legal coordination and reporting activities, budget management, procurement and staff movement functions and managing and maintaining divisional resources and databases. The legal administration officer will work closely with the Practice Director to coordinate these functions and run our high performing legal practice.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
Responsibilities of the **APS 4 Legal Administration Officer** may include:
- Supporting the Practice Director and Senior Executive Lawyers in managing the department's legal practice.
- General administrative support functions, such as printing, preparing binders, ordering stationery, organising meetings, preparing agendas and monitoring shared mailboxes.
- Assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes as required.
- Processing of invoices and assistance with financial reporting.
- Assistance with financial and procurement functions.
- Administrative support for litigation and legislation coordination functions.
- Assistance with updating divisional resources and databases.
- Providing support for the Continuing Professional Development Program and other training.
Responsibilities of the
**APS 5 Legal Administration Officer **may include:
- Supporting the Practice Director and Senior Executive Lawyers in managing the department's legal practice.
- General administrative support functions, such as printing, preparing binders, ordering stationery, organising meetings, preparing agendas and monitoring shared mailboxes.
- Managing recruitment rounds and providing on-boarding support for new staff.
- Processing of invoices and assistance with financial reporting.
- Providing finance, procurement, and contract management support.
- Administrative support for litigation and legislation coordination functions.
- Managing and maintaining divisional resources and databases.
- Managing the Continuing Professional Development Program roster and practicing certificates renewal process.
