About the Role:
WorkPac are seeking an experienced Operations Scheduler for a site-based role. This role is offering an 8/6 roster, FIFO from Perth for a 6 month duration. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining accurate schedules tracking site progress and leads the creation and governance of the two-week plan, while managing data inputs, reporting, and stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment with the operational plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collate and distribute daily and weekly actuals, inclusive of regular QAQC to ensure accuracy and performance tracking.
- Maintain spatial conformance data at the scope level, producing summaries and visual reports
- Prepare and present MOS Rhythms and execution presentations, incorporating draft feedback in collaboration with the Operations Supervisor.
- Create and maintain the 2-week execution plan within Primavera P6, including timely updates of actuals
- Coordinate stakeholder engagements and cross-functional collaboration, particularly within MTS pit window planning over the 2-week horizon.
- Perform ancillary planning and scheduling tasks to support operational readiness
- Escalate equipment issues, including standby, breakdowns, and delays, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal impact.
- Escalate significant deviations from the 2-week plan that may impact delivery, ensuring timely resolution and alignment with execution objectives
- Update Operations Request actuals in the Resource Development planning app to align digital data with physical site progress.
- Conduct AR checks to ensure scheduled activities do not conflict with or impact the changes outlined within the permit
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through data reporting, variance tracking, and structured feedback integration.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in integrated schedules, Primavera preferred
- Mining engineer and maintenance planning experience highly regarded
- Sound knowledge of planning and scheduling practices
- Robust analytical and problem solving skills to support short term plan deliverables
- Strong understanding of operational environment and productivity drivers
- Stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- C class manual drivers licence
