ROLE SUMMARY

Shape the foundational years of children aged 1–5 through a rich, inquiry‐based curriculum. Located just a 3‐minute walk from Bondi Junction, our purpose‐built centre offers state‐of‐the‐art facilities and a nurturing environment where educators and children thrive together.

As a permanent educator, you'll work alongside passionate colleagues to deliver meaningful learning experiences that foster independence, creativity, and a love of discovery. You'll support children's emotional, social, and cognitive development through play‐based and child‐led learning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Collaborate with Room Leaders to implement an innovative, inquiry‐driven curriculum.
* Observe and document children's development to support personalised learning.
* Create safe, engaging indoor and outdoor environments that promote exploration.
* Build strong, respectful relationships with families and involve them in their child's learning journey.
* Work as part of a reflective, inclusive team culture.
* Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
* Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute fresh ideas.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

* Strong understanding of child‐led and inquiry‐based learning methodologies, with a commitment to the Reggio Emilia philosophy.
* Experience in early childhood education, with a demonstrated passion for supporting young children's development.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships with colleagues, children, and families.
* Adaptability and openness to continuous professional development, staying updated on best practices in early childhood education.
* Ability to contribute to team planning and work collaboratively to create a positive, inclusive environment.

YOU'LL HAVE

* Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or be actively working towards it).
* ACECQA‐approved qualifications.
* A valid Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain one).
* Strong understanding of inquiry‐based and child‐led learning.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
