Overview
The Australian Government is investing $230 million over the next 10 years in flood warning infrastructure in Australia's highest flood risk areas. This investment will enable the Bureau to simplify ownership and maintenance of high‐priority flood warning assets through the acquisition, upgrade and integration of key local government‐owned, and some state government‐owned rain and river level gauges into its existing flood warning network across Australia.
Role Summary
The Bureau of Meteorology is seeking an experienced Communications Coordinator. The role will plan and deliver strategic and human‐focused communications to tell the story of the Bureau's flood warning network, building our reputation as a trusted collaborator and source of information.
