* Fixed-term to 31 December 2030, part-time (21 hours a week)
* $ 89,663 to $ 98,556 per annum, part time pro rata (HEO6) plus 17% Employer Superannuation

About the role
In this role, you will be part of an interdisciplinary research team conducting research for a specific research project funded by the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF). You will project manage a multi-site research project implementing community-based health programs for rural people ageing with an intellectual disability and assessing longer-term health outcomes. Your role will include liaising with stakeholders, industry partners and local communities. You will support the implementation of a five year multi-state project. You will work in partnership with the chief investigator team across multiple universities, research assistants, non-government community-based organisations, and an Advisory Committee.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have strong project coordination and administrative skills, with the ability to manage complex research projects, budgets and reporting requirements concurrently. You will bring high-level analytical and problem-solving capability, enabling you to monitor progress against milestones, identify risks and implement timely corrective actions. Strong knowledge of research compliance, ethics, contracts and governance requirements would be beneficial, along with experience developing and refining project systems, databases, procedures and protocols. You will be highly organised, detail-focused and confident in coordinating teams and supporting researchers, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to build effective relationships across internal and external partners.
