About the Role
This newly created Sales Manager position is a critical hands‐on leadership role, focused on driving profitability and repositioning the business for the next phase of growth. Under your hands‐on leadership and guidance the team will be responsible for identifying, securing, and managing contracts within local government, regional councils, and civil construction sectors. The role includes setting market strategy, managing the end‐to‐end tender process, and leading a capable sales and estimating team to deliver sales excellence and customer satisfaction.
This position suits a commercially driven leader who thrives in technical, production‐linked environments and can balance strategic sales planning with hands‐on strategic customer engagement.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in the infrastructure construction materials market is a must!
* Strong commercial understanding of tendering, pricing, logistics, and production alignment.
* Demonstrated success in achieving sales and revenue targets within competitive industrial markets.
* Leadership experience managing sales and estimating teams in complex operational environments.
* Ability to develop new customer relationships across local government, contractors, industrial, builder, and infrastructure markets.
