Field Service Representative – M113AS4 Vehicle
BAE Systems Australia is offering a Field Service Representative (FSR) position to support the Red Ochre Autonomy and Sensors (ROAS) program based in Adelaide or Melbourne. Flexible work arrangements such as a 9‐day fortnight are available.
Key responsibilities
* Act as the primary point of contact for issue identification and support service tasks related to the M113AS4 vehicle.
* Deliver expert technical advice to stakeholders on operation, maintenance and support considerations for the M113AS4 vehicle.
* Respond to requests for support service tasks and organise components for spares orders.
* Collaborate with FSRs and engineers to complete maintenance, modifications, mechanical installations and integration of new equipment.
* Support FSR‐related aspects and deliverables of the Land Platforms Engineering Services Contract.
* Assist the project team in developing project schedules for FSR‐related activities and deliverables.
Qualifications and experience
* Technical qualification in heavy vehicle mechanic (road transport) or fitter (armourer) discipline.
* Completed M113AS4 vehicle maintenance course.
* Australian Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment, or currently working towards it.
* Experience in a maintainer role within a defence environment.
* Experience working on mechanical systems in a defence environment.
* Experience providing technical advice, guidance and leadership within a maintenance or engineering organisation.
* Experience conducting and supporting technical investigations.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Recognition of ADF driver and commander qualifications is highly regarded.

This role requires a Defence security clearance. Applicants must be Australian citizens and either possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearances. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) apply and nationality may affect suitability.
