They are seeking a Senior / Principal Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic engineering team.
The role involves implementing projects within the EPC business unit and providing technical advice on mechanical design through to project completion.
The role
Lead a mechanical project design team, including engineers and draftspersons, to carry out multiple projects.
Provide technical advice on mechanical design, including preparation of design and detailed output documents.
Responsible for detailed design of all mechanical systems and sub-systems.
Support tender processes and provide basic estimate support.
Procure materials and equipment.
Liaise with customers, contractors, and suppliers.
Support testing and commissioning activities.
To succeed
A degree qualification in mechanical or mechatronic engineering.
Senior / Principal level mechanical engineering experience with CPEng certification.
Experience in industrial, heavy industry, or power generation sectors.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong reporting writing skills.
Natural initiative and problem-solving abilities.
Driver's license.
International applicants must hold valid work rights for Australia.
