A stable and successful glazing business, widely recognised as a trusted name across the industry, is seeking a new General Manager. You’ll take ownership of a robust, ISO‑accredited business process and lead an established senior management team, adding your own quality, structure, and experience to an already high‑performing operation. Candidates with strong Operations Management backgrounds—especially within glazing—are strongly encouraged to apply.
You’ll need
- 8–10 years’ experience in leadership roles, ideally within the trade and/or construction sector.
- Glass manufacturing experience (highly advantageous).
- Proven background as an Operations Manager/General Manager within the glass manufacturing industry.
- Expertise in P&L; oversight with full responsibility for Profit/Loss, safety, production, HR, hiring, and tendering.
- Strong understanding of industry trends, market positioning, and competitor landscape.
- Ability to cultivate and maintain customer relationships to retain and grow market share.
- Demonstrated track record in meeting revenue targets and solving operational challenges.
- Skills in optimising installation and fabrication structures for efficiency, safety, and productivity.
- Experience managing legal contracts, compliance, safety processes, and the annual ISO audit.
- Highly developed communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
