OverviewWorkshop Fitter role at Cargill's Facility in Newcastle.
You will maintain optimum asset health for plant equipment, systems and structures.
Work independently on individual assignments and support cross-team projects, with opportunities to learn across plant areas.
You will collaborate with teams across the plant and contribute to safety by addressing near-miss/incident conditions.Key AccountabilitiesPerform facility and equipment maintenance in an efficient, results-oriented manner to ensure peak operational performance of the production facility.Carry out preventative maintenance, lubrication and inspections.Report information regarding required follow-up work, preventative maintenance issues and complete work order documentation.Adhere to processes and procedures related to food safety and quality management.QualificationsFitter or equivalent trade qualification.Forklift licence.Confined space entry.Elevated work platform.Experience in a manufacturing and process environment, particularly food and beverage, desirable but not essential.Basic computer literacy.Hold forklift and elevated work platform Operator certificate of competency or obtain one within 3 months of appointment.Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and proactive.Ability to prioritize tasks and problem solve promptly.All candidates will undergo medical, police and driver's licence checks.In Return To Your Experience, We OfferOffer under enterprise agreement; relocation assistance can be provided if needed.Position will be Level 4 on current EBA with an agreed training schedule.Job stability with a global employer that values people.A supportive, inclusive team culture.If you are ready for a rare, career-defining opportunity, are self-motivated and team-spirited, we would love to hear from you.Location: Newcastle, Recent South Wales, Australia
