We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial ServicesOfficer – Credit Management to join our high-performing team.In this role, you'll be responsible for managing Warrigal'sdebtor accounts—monitoring overdue payments, negotiatingrepayment plans, and collaborating with external agencies to ensurefinancial sustainability. The opportunity

You will take on a key role as Financial Services Officer– Credit Management, helping to manage and monitorWarrigal's customer accounts and ensure a respectful,effective approach to debt recovery. You'll work to identifyoverdue debts, follow up with customers, and negotiate fairrepayment arrangements that align with our values and financialresponsibilities.

You will collaborate with teams across Warrigal as well asexternal partners, including debt collection agencies, to resolveoutstanding accounts and minimise financial risk. Your day-to-daywill include preparing correspondence, maintaining accurate recordsin our systems, and using financial data to track progress andsupport informed decision-making.

This role is well suited to someone who's detail-oriented,confident working with numbers, and comfortable managingconversations around payments. If you're proactive,empathetic, and ready to contribute to a purpose-drivenorganisation, this could be the opportunity for you.

What you'll bring

* You're a detail-oriented finance professional with astrong background in credit management and a genuine commitmentto building respectful, solutions-focused relationships withcustomers and stakeholders.
* With proven experience in managing debtor accounts,negotiating repayment plans, and applying best-practicecollection strategies, you balance empathy with accountabilityto deliver fair and sustainable financial outcomes.
* You bring strong communication and negotiation skills toevery interaction—whether you're working with customers,internal teams, or external agencies—and are confidentnavigating sensitive conversations around payments withprofessionalism and care.
* You're passionate about contributing to a positiveworkplace culture and are proactive in identifyingopportunities for process improvement, data-drivendecision-making, and cross-team collaboration.
* Experience in aged care, not-for-profit, or similarlyvalues-driven sectors is highly regarded, especially if youunderstand the unique financial considerations and compliancerequirements in these environments.

What it takes to do this work

* Credit Control Experience : Demonstratedexperience in a credit control or similar finance-relatedrole.
* Systems Proficiency : Strong workingknowledge of ERP/accounting systems and high-level proficiencyin Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal andwritten communication abilities, including professionaltelephone manner and strong interpersonal skills.
* Negotiation Expertise: Proven negotiationskills with a solid understanding of effective collectionstrategies and techniques.
* Team Collaboration: Ability to workcollaboratively as a supportive and effective team member.
* Relationship Building: Strong capabilityto develop and maintain positive working relationships with awide range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Industry Knowledge: Previous experience inthe Aged Care sector, with familiarity with the Aged Care andRetirement Village Acts.
* Legal Awareness: Understanding of legalframeworks and requirements related to debt collection.
* ERP Experience: Prior experience using theEpicor ERP system.
