Early Childhood Support Professional
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Early Childhood Support Professional to collaborate with children, families, and professionals in the delivery of early childhood services.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will provide tailored support to children aged 0-9 years who have developmental concerns or delays/disabilities. This role involves working closely with families to identify their needs and priorities, connecting them with local mainstream and community services, and facilitating access to early intervention programs.
Key responsibilities include conducting observations, using screening tools and assessments, identifying pathways for accessing supports and services, and working with families to implement NDIS plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Allied Health, or relevant field.
* Tailored approach to delivering early childhood services.
* Moderate report writing and IT skills, including database management.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience supporting families using a family-focused approach.
