We are looking for an experienced and capable individual to supervise and lead a marine construction and floating plant crew. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in the construction industry and demonstrate proven leadership skills in site-based operations.
Reporting to the Project Manager, this is a hands-on role that will see you based primarily on-site, leading a crew of up to six team members.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, implement and supervise daily operations
* Strong focus on safe work culture and processes
* Rostering, prioritise tasks and allocating resources accordingly
* Manage subcontractors, site inductions, conduct SWMS, pre-start and site meetings
* On-site training
* Complete relevant site documentation and reports
* Manage and maintain plant and equipment
What do you need?
* Trade qualification
* Marine qualifications and tickets
* Cert IV in Frontline Management
* A current Drivers Licence
* Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.
* Organised, good communication skills, self-motivated, hard-working, punctual and reliable
