The Company
Young, ambitious, well-backed, high-growth Australian FMCG business with modern operations and a clear growth agenda. Technology plays a critical role in supporting production, logistics, and corporate teams, and the business continues to invest in systems, infrastructure, and capability as it scales.
This is an opportunity to join an Australian success story at a point where the business is still agile, decisions are made locally, and individual contribution matters.
The Role
This is a hands-on ICT Support Technician role with genuine scope and ownership. You will act as the first point of contact for technology across the business, providing both on-site and remote support in a fast-moving, operationally intensive environment.
The role goes beyond traditional helpdesk. You will support core business systems, manage infrastructure and networks, and play a key role in keeping production and warehouse operations running without disruption. Autonomy, problem-solving, and accountability is central to the role.
What you'll do
• Provide Level 2 technical support across hardware, software, networks, and cloud services
• Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud infrastructure, including servers, virtualisation, and storage
• Administer network environments including routers, switches, Wi-Fi, and firewalls
• Own Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration, user access, and licensing
• Support critical line-of-business systems used in manufacturing and operations
• Manage ICT onboarding and offboarding, including access, equipment, and accounts
• Proactively monitor systems to minimise downtime and operational impact
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and a practical knowledge base
• Assist with ICT projects, vendor coordination, and solution implementation
• Maintain strong security, backup, and disaster recovery practices across IT and OT systems
About you
You are a capable, independent ICT professional who enjoys variety and responsibility. You are comfortable being the "go-to" person for technology in a busy environment and can balance user support with infrastructure and security work.
You bring:
• 5+ years' experience in a similar ICT support or systems role
• Strong experience with Windows, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID
• Solid networking knowledge and hands-on troubleshooting skills
• Exposure to operational technology or industrial control systems
• A practical understanding of cybersecurity and risk management
• Clear communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
Nice to have:
• Cisco CCNA or similar networking certification
• Experience supporting ERP, WMS, or manufacturing systems
• Exposure to VMware or similar virtualisation platforms
• Experience working in FMCG, manufacturing, or operational environments
Culture
This is a pragmatic, low-ego environment where people are trusted to do their job. The business values ownership, accountability, and people who take initiative rather than wait for direction. You'll work closely with the business, see the impact of your work daily, and contribute to systems that directly support growth.
