We have a permanent full-time Project Manager role in our Defence division to support a new contract for Property and Asset Services across South Australia and the Northern Territory. This position is based at any of the main defence bases in South Australia.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for overseeing and managing projects arising from estate maintenance request activities, survey and quote activities, and estate works requests across multiple defence bases.
* Develop, review, and maintain project quality plans to ensure high standards and compliance of project documentation.
* Prepare and present project status reports to the PMO Lead and other senior management.
* Conduct regular financial performance reviews to ensure projects are on budget and financially viable.
* Coordinate with stakeholders, including military personnel, contractors, and internal teams.
* Ensure workplace health and safety guidelines are set, implemented, and monitored throughout the project lifecycle.
* Oversee procurement of materials and services required for projects and identify risks with mitigation strategies.
About you / Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will have:
* Ideally 5 years' experience in project management, preferably in Defence or a similar industry.
* Experience with estate maintenance request activities, survey and quote activities, and estate works requests is highly desirable.
* Experience in stakeholder engagement and the ability to communicate effectively with multiple groups.
* Strong understanding of workplace health and safety regulations and standards.
* Proficiency in project management software tools.
* Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent would be advantageous.
You must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
