Job Description

* Contract until June 2026 with strong potential for extensions

Our client, a large NSW Government organisation, is seeking a Clerical and Administrative Workers to join the team.

This will include secretariat support for the training meetings including preparation for meetings and management of actions between meetings. There may also be general administrative responsibilities including procurement, correspondence, travel bookings, event support and other tasks as required.

We have two roles available:

1. Branch Administration Officer

* Provide a range of administrative and support services to meet the business needs of the team/unit. Respond to and resolve complex enquiries and issues to ensure the provision of accurate information, and the timely and effective resolution of issues.
* Coordinate and manage records and databases, complying with administrative systems, processes and policies, to ensure that all information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible.
* Develop, implement and monitor office systems, procedures and methods, adapting processes and techniques as required, to facilitate efficient team/unit operations in line with agency standards, policies and procedures.
* Gather and collate information for, and prepare documentation and reports on business unit performance, as well as make recommendations to improve efficiency, cost management and service delivery.

2. Temporary Administration Support Officer

* Utilise highly developed customer relations skills and delivering a positive customer experience providing timely and efficient advice.
* Maintain knowledge of relevant policies and procedures and contribute to continuous improvement processes to ensure their applicability and useability within the organisation.
* Contribute to the development of knowledge that supports an efficient customer focused service for the organisation by participating in Cross-unit/portfolio partnership and collaboration activities to support CORE values and improve the organisations overall effectiveness

On offer is a contract role until June 2026 at a highly sought after NSW government department.
