Our Supply Chain team ensures inventory is consistently available to meet customer demand. We coordinate all aspects of supply through supply planning, sourcing, making, inventory management, packaging and delivery. We partner across the Marketing, Finance and Manufacturing organizations to build a robust demand and supply plan and ensure we get products to the right customer, at the place, at the right time.

Role Overview

The primary responsibility of the Supply Chain Manager is to, by being hands on, hold overall responsibility for planning, implementing and monitoring the overall supply chain strategy in order to maximise efficiency, ensure customer OTIF and meet quality expectations. This position is the link between site operations (including Industrial manufacturing), customers and suppliers.

* Responsible for master scheduling, buyer analysis, order management, production scheduling, customer fulfillment, dispatch and warehouse operations and inventory management.
* Directs and coordinates the day‐to‐day and long‐term strategic activities of the supply chain team to ensure timely planning and procurement of goods and services to meet business demand.
* Analyse market conditions or trends. Monitor inventories of products or materials to estimate demand for products or services, working to optimised stock levels.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders in understanding monthly forecasting, sales trends, and marketing initiatives to support the coordination of Supply Chain Activities and validate forecasted demands.
* Develop work processes to support the optimisation of the ERP system (SAP), specifically supporting the full execution of MRP, MPS and Production Scheduling.
* Utilise rough cut capacity planning model for level loading machines, as well as ordering and inventory management.
* Develop work instructions and other training materials to support the optimisation of departmental routines (standard work).
* Develop goals and measure performance for Planning, Purchasing and Inventory Control departments.
* Establish key performance indicators and benchmarks relating to supply chain, planning and customer service.
* The Supply Chain Manager sits within the Manufacturing organisation and reports to Brisbane Site Manager.

* Implementing strategies that elevate employee performance and strengthen effectiveness, engagement, accuracy, and efficiency across all departments under the role's remit.
* Providing proactive mentoring and guidance to all subordinates—management and non-management—covering all aspects of their job functions to drive department‐wide success.
* Establishing and supporting best practices, including timely completion of annual appraisals, individual development plans, and succession planning for all reporting teams.
* Overseeing purchased goods, warehousing, and dispatch operations, ensuring safety, cost control, service quality, and compliance standards are consistently met across the departments.
* Evaluating end‐to‐end internal supply chain performance and leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system operations and outcomes across all reporting areas.
* Delivering effective leadership to direct reports and their teams in performance management, skills development, attendance, communication, recognition, and accountability for results.
* Ensuring alignment of departmental objectives with organisational goals, monitoring KPIs, and taking corrective action to secure the success of all reporting departments.

Documentation and PV Responsibilities

Maintain all documentation in accordance with Company and relevant quality standards.

EHS

* Ensure all hazards and environmental aspects in their area are identified, documented, assessed and controlled in accordance with EHS procedures.
* Ensure compliance with legal and other requirements.
* Assist in the development of EHS objectives, targets and performance indicators, establish EHS improvement projects and review progress.
* Ensure all employees receive such EHS information, instruction, training and supervision as is necessary to perform their work in a manner that is safe and without significant risk to health or the environment.
* Ensure compilation of EHS reports as required by senior management, regulatory authorities and others.
* Identify and record EHS monitoring requirements and implement appropriate monitoring.
* Ensure scheduled audits and inspections (for which you are responsible) are conducted and necessary corrective actions are developed and completed.

What should you have

* In‐depth experience in material planning and procurement, inventory control and management, production planning, setting production requirements and managing execution, material movement and service level negotiations.
* Able to improve forecast accuracy resulting in enhanced business results by leading the adoption of forecasting leading practices.
* Ability to work with all levels of business customers in a highly dynamic environment.
* Comfortable with working closely across various teams including functional and procurement leadership teams.
* Willingness and ability to work flexible working hours. Proficient is SAP technology, processes and systems.

Education Minimum Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree or formal qualifications; preferably in Logistics Management, Manufacturing Operations, Industrial Engineering or related field.

Required Experience & Skills

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Minimum 5-years Supply Chain/Logistics experience in Manufacturing.
* Strong supervisory and leadership skills; experience leading a team.
* Experience with SAP ERP system.
* Strong knowledge of supply chain processes.
* Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with fellow employees, vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
