Recent Digital Business Analysis & Project Management experience ESSENTIAL - This is NOT a Senior Project Management position - Based in Western Sydney, minimum of three days in the office
Key Responsibilities:
* Facilitate the design, build and transition of solutions and services
o Work closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to define the project's scope and functional requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
o Business analysis for defining ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ processes
o Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems, user feedback, define the problem statements and utilise industry best practices to identify areas for improvement and enhancement.
o Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, ensuring clarity and comprehensiveness for the tender process.
o Evaluate vendor proposals, conduct interviews, and make recommendations based on their expertise, capabilities, and fit with project goals.
o Manage relationships with vendors throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clear communication, adherence to timelines, and delivery of high-quality work.
* Facilitate business change management
o Define and drive best practice change methodology allowing for user impact analysis, job transition, defining training needs, facilitating post implementation support
* Facilitate stakeholder engagement and communication:
o Engage and collaborate with stakeholders, steering committees, and project teams to gather input, provide updates, and address any concerns or challenges.
o Present project plans, progress reports, and recommendations to the steering committee and other key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
o Facilitate effective communication channels between the project team and stakeholders, ensuring all parties are well-informed throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst & Project Manager or similar role, specifically managing business technology projects and improvement initiatives either vendor or client side.
* Solid understanding of business processes and systems (ie: ERP, CRM, SCM, data warehousing )
* Strong knowledge of data analytics and ecommerce, with relevant technology vendors, user experience best practices, and web development technologies.
* Excellent project life-cycle management skills, including the ability to define scope, manage resources, and meet deadlines.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, steering committees, and stakeholders.
* Proficiency in project management tools, content management systems, and data analytics platforms.
