Senior Business Development Leader
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Development Leader to lead and develop our sales team focused on State and Local Government accounts.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of business development professionals responsible for selling data-driven solutions into State and Local Government accounts.
* Drive team performance to exceed sales targets, pipeline coverage, and activity metrics.
* Monitor and guide pipeline progression through MEDDPICC, ensuring each representative maintains a healthy, high-quality funnel with clear next steps.
* Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts to senior leadership, calling deals with confidence and clarity.
Key Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
* 5 years of experience in B2B sales with 2+ years managing quota-carrying sales teams, preferably in the State and Local Government or Public Sector space.
* Demonstrated success leading teams to exceed quota in a complex, multi-stakeholder sales environment.
