What you’ll do:
- Lead the delivery of comprehensive tax compliance, planning, and advisory services for private businesses, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Advise clients on tax-efficient strategies including succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, and restructuring to support their business growth and wealth preservation.
- Manage client relationships through proactive communication, identifying opportunities for additional services, and guiding clients through ATO reviews or audits.
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment and contributing to their professional development.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in private business tax compliance and advisory, with strong knowledge of tax legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to analyse complex financial and tax issues, providing clear, strategic advice to clients across multiple industries.
- Excellent client management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and identify opportunities to add value.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities, seeking support when needed and delegated where appropriate.
- A collaborative leader who can mentor and develop junior staff while contributing to a high-performance team culture.
