About the Role:
As a Cardiology Research Fellow, you will collaborate with esteemed cardiologists on pioneering research projects and clinical trials that have a direct impact on patient outcomes across the region.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
Participating in clinical trials across the spectrum of cardiology
Recruiting patients into a broad range of cardiology clinical trials
Ensuring ethical patient involvement in clinical trials
Providing high-quality professional medical care to patients in clinical trials
Conducting outpatient cardiology services, particularly for trial patients
Communicating effectively with general practitioners and other referring physicians
Assisting in the productive management of cardiovascular diseases
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration
Demonstrated ability and interest in clinical research
Commitment to equal employment opportunity and ethical conduct principles
Proven clinical skills to work in general cardiology and coronary care
Comprehensive understanding of the role of a cardiology physician in a teaching hospital environment
Experience in cardiac investigations, echocardiographic services, and cardiovascular medicine
