We're growing our network of Visa Medical Assessment Centres to provide a Bupa experience for visa applicants in the communities where they live.
This has created a range of frontline and leadership roles in new purpose-built medical centres and opportunities to grow your career with a global health care brand where our customers are at the heart of everything we do.About the role: Our receptionists are the first point of contact for customers in our Visa Medical Assessment Centres and provide information and instructions to help guide customers through the medical assessment process — ensuring they understand what to do and why.
Role and HoursCasual receptionist - on an adhoc basisMedical centre hours are between 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday and 8:30am – 4:30pm on weekends, so there is an expectation you will be able to work these hours as requested across a rotating roster.ResponsibilitiesAs part of our professional Reception and Concierge team you will greet customers and ensure their questions and concerns are addressed and resolved with a customer-focused, respectful, caring and professional approach.
You will adhere to established processes and procedures to assist customers through the steps of the assessment process, including:Conducting an identity and security check and escalating any identified risksProcessing payments via EFTPOSConfirming customer documentation is completed to requirements and processing formsConfirming which examinations the customer is required to complete and explaining this to the customerEntering required data and information into customer management systems and databasesExplaining the steps throughout the visa medical examination and ensuring the customer understands the key elements of the visa medical examination processAbout YouOur Receptionists come from a wide variety of backgrounds and work experiences.
To be successful in the role, you'll need:Demonstrated customer focus and a professional, service-orientated and helpful approachExcellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate and consistent outcomes in a busy and repetitious environmentWell-developed communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of customers and staff, including people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, adapting communication style to meet the needs of the customer and clearly convey informationSound IT and computer skillsThe ability to work effectively within a highly structured environment driven by procedure and process, and to adhere to established processes, quality standards and targetsBe at the heart of it with BupaThis isn't your average Receptionist position.
